Bhairavkala
The public image is only about 30 centimeters high and can be seen on the front of the temple facing the Square . Here offerings can be pushed into the templešs interior, with the actual door to the temple located through the small Betal Temple, behind the main one. The Bhairavnath Temple was originally built in the early seventeenth century, but then was rebuilt by King Bhupatindra Malla in 1717. After it was destroyed in the earthquake of 1934, it was rebuilt again and a third floor was added. Just recently, Bhairavnath has also been restored completely by the municipality.
